ATTENTION ALL BUSINESS OWNERS


DID YOU KNOW…… that in September 2024, over 700 Campervans & Motorhomes will descend on Mount Gambier?!?!
The ‘Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia Limited’ {CMCA}, are gathering in Mount Gambier for their largest annual rally, for 8 days in September 2024.

THIS IS A HUGE OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL BUSINESS OWNERS IN THE MOUNT & SURROUNDS!

So- the basic details are as follows;
– Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia Limited – 37th National Rally Mount Gambier
– Anticipate 700+ recreational vehicles (approx.. 1400 members) clearly identified through wearing lanyards
– 8 day event – 22 – 29 September 2024
– Venue: Mount Gambier Showgrounds, 1 Pick Avenue, Mount Gambier

There are plenty of opportunities to showcase our vibrant local businesses to CMCA visitors from across the country. There are lots of opportunities to do your own promotion for the CMCA Rally. You can advertise in their program {very reasonably priced from $80-$500}, set up a trade stall, become a sponsor, provide your own 1000 flyers for their rally showbags. However, if you would like an affordable, easy option that will directly engage with a large, enthusiastic audience and drive traffic to your stores, THE CHAMBER CLUB promotion is for you! Please note- you will need to actively promote your own store on social media, share with THE CHAMBER CLUB, and actively promote THE CHAMBER CLUB yourself to really make this work!

COST:
Fee to be paid to the Chamber to be part of this collaboration.
$40 Administration fee for all participants
NON CHAMBER MEMBERS – $50 Entry Fee (+ $40 Administration fee; total $90.00 to participate)

WHAT IS ‘THE CHAMBER CLUB’ & HOW WILL I BENEFIT FROM IT?
The Chamber has been brainstorming ideas on how we can best promote our local businesses WITH 3 MAIN PRIORITIES.
1 – Boost Sales: Engage directly with potential customers who are eager to explore Mount Gambier. Get them in your stores, spending their money.
2 – Community Support: Show your support for local events and strengthen community ties. Lets show these travellers how wonderful our community is.
3 – Brand Visibility: Benefit from extensive promotion through multiple channels. Let’s use all the best ways to get them into your store!

WHAT WILL ‘THE CHAMBER CLUB’ INCLUDE?
1. Flyer Inclusion
Include your business on THE CHAMBER CLUB flyer in the welcome packs given to all 1400 CMCA members. Directly reach every attendee with your special offers and business information.
A business card size space will be allocated to include your business name, address, In-store special and logo. The idea is that they can cut out vouchers to use in your store. For eg- 2 for 1 coffee.

2. Poster/Balloon Store Promotion
An in-store poster will be provided to participating businesses with a space designed for you to promote your unique in-store special, together with balloons to create a standout festive atmosphere and guide attendees to THE CHAMBER CLUB businesses.

3. Full-Page Ad in Event Program – A4 size magazine
THE CHAMBER CLUB will secure a full-page advertisement in the official CMCA event program distributed to all attendees to highlight the collaboration with the businesses and QR Code to the map and participating businesses.

4. Map Sponsorship
Feature your business on a custom interactive map highlighting THE CHAMBER CLUB businesses, as well as key locations and attractions in Mount Gambier. This will enhance visibility and encourage attendees to visit your store. The map can be accessed using a unique QR Code. This code will be in the program, on the flyer & on the poster.

5. Prize/Voucher Presentation at Nightly Draw
Opportunity to present a prize and/or voucher from your business for the nightly attendee draw. This will allow direct interaction with attendees and increased brand recognition.
